The TESCO 24-EXBBS is a self-contained, Caltrans battery backup system designed to provide hours of uninterrupted power through weather outages and other disturbances, providing safety for drivers and law enforcement officials under hazardous conditions.
Built to Caltrans specifications, the enclosure is used to house batteries and/or battery backup system, including inverter, power transfer relay, bypass switches, the wiring harness and other control panel components. It is appropriate for retrofit projects or new installations, and can be side-mounted to the existing controller cabinet, or installed free-standing on a concrete base.
