The TESCO L3000e’s internal web server lets you remotely view live data, and perform configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance from anywhere in the world. The L3000e’s built-in web server stores all site documentation (drawings, O&M manual, programming and operation theory) within the device flash memory. Documents are always available onsite or remotely using any web browser. Maintenance logs, site visits, and time/date log entries are easily stored from the web browser in the flash drive memory.

TESCO also offers a standard LED display and keypad in compact and large sizes. Operators can troubleshoot and program directly on the faceplate. Its tough exterior is built for rugged environments. Compact Operator Interface

TESCO’s Compact Operator Interface is a four-key menu-driven OIT with four macro keys, sixty assignable LEDs, and standard eight character alpha-numeric display. Functions are performed by selecting items from menus, and adjusting settings with the UP/DOWN keys. This allows the operator to perform normal functions with very little training required. This easy-to-use operator interface is well suited for most basic functions.

Full-Sized Operator Interface

The Tesco Controls, Inc. Full-Sized Operator Interface has been specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the water / wastewater control and monitoring industry. It has a thirty-two key full programming keyboard. The keys are labeled in English language terms, such as “PUMP” and “LEVEL”. An Eight LED display indicates the current operational mode and monitors communications network traffic. Through this keyboard, the operator has easy access to all system functions, including the ability to change the control program.

TESCO’s L3000g™ is a cost effective communications gateway device with the ability to bridge multiple communication protocols across Ethernet and RS232 ports. Redundant systems for your critical applications
Tesco Controls, Inc. offers a unique “Hot Standby“ bi-directional, true bumpless transfer system designed to keep all equipment and systems running. It automatically switches to a secondary PLC in the event that the primary PLC fails, without interrupting the process. Bumpless transfers ensure that output signals remain the same through a secondary to primary transfer thereby minimizing process disruption during transfer. The secondary PLC continuously polls the primary for values to update the system and stay in synchronization. As a fail-safe measure, when a SCADA system polls the hot standby, only one IP address will register as the primary PLC. SCADA telemetry communicates with the primary PLC no matter which PLC has the primary duties.

Hot standby transfers are transparent to all telemetry communications and the application-process being controlled. This allows SCADA and HMIs to be constantly communicating with the primary device, regardless of which unit is acting as primary. It provides automatic telemetry port escalation from Ethernet to Serial and back. Telemetry communication continues in the event a communication path is down.

The TESCO PSU multi-port DC to DC power supply unit provides the required +12VDC and +5VDC for the L3000e® and other peripheral equipment.

It has been designed with an integrated battery backup system which engages, should the +24V primary power source fall 1.2V below the battery backup voltage input; a bumpless transfer to the battery backup voltage is initiated. If the primary voltage input rises to 1.2V greater than the battery backup voltage, a bumpless transfer back to the primary power input is performed.
