Sacramento, CA – March 20, 2023 – Tesco Controls, a UFT Company (TESCO), is excited to announce that Sam Strobe, CPA, has joined its management team as Director of Finance, reporting to Hamid Sarshar, President of Tesco Controls. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting as well as a minor in Global Business and Spanish from the University of Arizona. His most recent position was as Director of Accounting and Finance for West Coast Energy Systems, a leading distributor and servicer of Generac power and industrial generator systems in the western United States.
Sam began his accounting career in Anchorage, Alaska at KPMG, a “Big Four” accounting firm. He then worked for Waste Connections, moved to San Luis Obispo, California in 2017, and was promoted to District Controller in 2018. Sam went on to work as U.S. Controller for the international AI computer platforms company, Blaize, in El Dorado Hills.
Sam will lead the TESCO accounting team and work closely with all departments to help further the Company’s continuous improvement path. Throughout his career, Sam has worked closely with operations teams, helping to bridge the gap between finance and operations. He believes in building strong partnerships with operations teams to collaborate and achieve results together.
