Sacramento, CA – February 20, 2019 – TESCO I.T. Manager Steve O’Brien received the Patriotic Employer Award for his support of Staff Sergeant Erik Hackett, U.S. Army Reserve (and TESCO Network Administrator), during his deployment to East Africa. The award was sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of Defense, ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) organization.
Karen Alexandrou, ESGR Training Director and Employer Outreach Coordinator for California, presented the award to Mr. O’Brien on Wednesday during TESCO’s employee shareholder meeting.
ESGR (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) sponsors an awards program designed to recognize employers for employment policies and practices that are supportive of their employees’ participation in the National Guard and Reserve.
